Search and rescue operations in Singapore is provided by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) in collaboration with the Ministry of Defence, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, the Meteorological Service of Singapore, the Ministry of Health, Singapore Police Force, Singapore Civil Defence Force, the CAAS Airport Emergency Service and other government ministries, departments and agencies. SAR Coordination and Agencies Co-ordination in a search and rescue operation is conducted through the Singapore Rescue Co-ordination Centre (RCC) which is located at the Singapore Air Traffic Control Centre (SATCC). The RCC is maintained and run by CAAS. In the event of a SAR operation, assistance in the form of facilities and cooperation is provided by the Ministry of Defence, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, the Meteorological Service of Singapore, the Ministry of Health, Singapore Police Force, Singapore Civil Defence Force, the CAAS Airport Emergency Service and other government ministries, departments and agencies.
