Process Innovation Challenge 2
About Process Innovation Challenge
The Process Innovation Challenge (PIC) aims to promote a culture of continuous productivity improvement in the aviation sector and demonstrate the capability and impact of small-scale (“quick-win”) initiatives.
Feedback on PIC1:
"After implementing the new system, significant improvements were achieved both in the processes and productivity levels such as more than 50% reduction in the time spent on preparing and distributing production documents." – Diethelm Keller Aviation Pte Ltd
"Adopting and customising the system to our specific requirements and needs gave us the opportunity to improve our productivity, and we were able to achieve many improvements such as a 90% reduction in the cycle time." – International Engine Component Overhaul Pte Ltd
"We managed to achieve several improvements such as a faster turnaround time, from 605hrs to 88hrs which translates into an 85% increase in productivity." – ST Aerospace Engineering Pte Ltd
Following the success of its first challenge, PIC2 will continue to encourage intra-industry learning and the adoption of good ideas across the aviation sector.
