The Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA) was established in 1958 as the training arm of CAAS. It provides a comprehensive range of training programmes, which conform to ICAO's standards and recommended practices, and a platform for the exchange of knowledge. Through its four specialised schools - School of Aviation Management, School of Air Traffic Services, School of Airport Emergency Services, and School of Aviation Safety and Security – SAA has trained over 70,000 participants from over 200 countries and territories.
As a forerunner in the field of aviation training, SAA continuously develops programs that reflect the latest international trends and industry requirements. In our role as an enabler of continuous learning, SAA sets high standards for industry training that supports our stakeholders in developing the human capital necessary to meet and even exceed industry regulatory, operational and safety requirements.
