Introduction
The Aeronautical Information Service (AIS) is responsible for the collection and dissemination of aeronautical information in the Singapore Flight Information Region. Aeronautical information is provided in the Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) Singapore and its updates / amendments. AIP Singapore is the basic aeronautical information document which contains permanent information essential to air navigation within the Singapore Flight Information Region. It is made up of three parts, namely, General (GEN), En-route (ENR) and Aerodromes (AD). AIP Singapore is updated by a regular amendment service of reprinted pages issued once every two months. AIP Supplement (AIP SUP) publishes temporary changes of long duration (three months and longer) and information of short duration which contains extensive text and / or graphics, supplementing the permanent information contained in AIP Singapore. Aeronautical Information Circular (AIC) contains explanatory or advisory information concerning technical, legislative or administrative matters and on the long-term forecast of major change in legislation, regulations, procedures or facilities liable to affect flight safety. NOTAM List is a plain language presentation of all current NOTAMs listed in the NOTAM checklist issued monthly and transmitted via the Aeronautical Fixed Service (AFS). It also contains the checklist of current AIP SUPs and the reference numbers of the latest Singapore AIP amendment, AIP SUP and AIC issued.

Self-retrieval of NOTAMs in the form of Pre-flight Information Bulletin (PIB) is available through e-AIS. (On-line Registration) The PIB, a recapitulation of all current NOTAMs affecting the flight on the day of operation, is provided for all route segments emanating from Singapore. Depending on their requirements, users can retrieve PIB based on : a) Area (FIR), b) Aerodrome, c) NOTAM number, or d) Filed Flight Plan. e-Filing of Flight Plans
Airline operators and pilots can also file their flight plans for departures from Singapore through e-AIS. (On-line Registration)
