Some aerial activities can potentially pose a hazard to air navigation, either due to the close proximity between an object in the air and an overflying aircraft, or an object may cause an obstruction along the flight path. As such, prior clearance needs to be sought from CAAS before interested parties carry out such activities. By accessing this page, applicants would be able to apply for the following aerial activties:

  • Aerial Photography
  • Kite Flying
  • Fireworks / Pyrotechnics
  • Hoisting of Balloons / Blimps
  • Release of Sky Lanterns
  • Release of balloons
  • Lasers / Other Lights Display
  • Flying of Unmanned Aircraft

    The operation of unmanned aircraft is not allowed within and into a temporary Restricted Area established between 17 and 20 September 2015 for low level helicopter flights conducting aerial filming of the 2015 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix.
