Singapore Changi Airport Gears Up For 'The Ultimate Racing Sensation' 2009 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX tickets and other SING

2009 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX tickets and other SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX premiums up for grabs at Changi Airport

To enhance the Changi Experience and build up excitement ahead of the 2009 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) will be partnering title sponsor, SingTel, and race promoter, Singapore GP, for an exciting Singapore Grand Prix roadshow - 'The Ultimate Racing Sensation' - at Changi Airport. Life-sized race track simulators and racing game consoles will be on display at Changi Airport till 24 May 2009, for passengers and airport visitors eager for some Formula One^TMaction. A highlightof the roadshow is a lucky draw where two winners will walk away with a pair of Singapore Grand Prix Bay Grandstandtickets each.

The first leg of 'The Ultimate Racing Sensation' roadshow has kicked off at the public areas of Terminal 3. Until 7 May 2009, two sets of life-sized SingTel race car simulators and four sets of racing game consoles are on display at Terminal 3 Check-in Departure Hall, near Hall Row 11 from noon to 10pm daily. All airport visitors can enjoy a free multi-sensory ride on the simulators to experience the Singapore circuit for themselves or try their hand at the racing game consoles. Visitors can also take part in the lucky draw.

The roadshow will continue in the Departure Transit Malls of Terminals 1, 2 and 3 and the Budget Terminal from 8 - 24 May 2009. Passengers who spend a minimum of S$15 can have a ride on the racing game consoles, located at Terminal 1 (noon to 10pm daily), Terminal 2 (noon to 10 pm daily), Terminal 3 (1.30 pm to 11.30 pm daily) and the Departure Lounge of the Budget Terminal (4 pm to 11.30 pm daily). Record breakers who clock the best timings stand to win limited edition Singapore Grand Prixpremiums and Changi Airport collectibles. Each participant will also be entitled to a complimentary photo souvenir pictured against a Formula One^TMthematic backdrop and a chance to take part in the lucky draw.

The lucky draw will take place on 29 May 2009. Winners will be notified by the organisers. The 2009 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX will take place from 25 - 27 September 2009 at the Marina Bay Street Circuit in the heart of downtown Singapore.
