CAAS, e2i, Pasir Ris-Changi GRC and North East CDC Bring Over 1,800 Aviation Job Opportunities to the Heartlands

The North East OneAviation Careers 2026 fair, jointly organised by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), NTUC’s Employment and Employability Institute (e2i), Pasir Ris-Changi Group Representation Constituency (GRC) and the North East Community Development Council (NE CDC), is taking place over two days from 24 to 25 July 2026 at Pasir Ris Town Square. The fair features over 1,800 aviation job opportunities from 22 organisations across the aviation ecosystem, spanning roles in airport operations, aerospace, hospitality, and retail. This is the second CAAS community-level aviation careers fair this year, aimed at making job opportunities more accessible to Singaporeans, particularly residents living near Changi Airport.  

Bringing OneAviation Careers into the Heartlands

2        As the Singapore aviation sector continues to grow, the North East OneAviation Careers 2026 fair brings together government, industry and community partners to connect residents with career opportunities in the aviation sector closer to home. Participating organisations include Certis Group, Changi Airport Group, GE Aerospace, Lotte Duty Free, SATS, Scoot, Singapore Airlines, SIA Engineering Company and Singapore Aero Support Services, among others. As part of NE CDC's broader Jobs Nearby @ CDC initiative, the fair reflects a shared commitment to making quality career opportunities more accessible while strengthening Singapore's aviation workforce.

3        The fair is open to Singaporeans at different stages, including mid-career jobseekers, fresh graduates, students exploring future pathways and individuals seeking to transition into the aviation sector. In addition to learning about aviation career opportunities, attendees can explore education and training pathways, receive personalised career guidance from e2i career coaches and make use of digital tools such as NTUC’s AI Career Coach for resume feedback, job matching and interview preparation. The fair also features part-time roles within the sector, offering flexible employment options for individuals seeking alternative work arrangements.  

4        Beyond recruitment opportunities, the fair features three showcase areas – (i) One Industry. Many Opportunities (ii) One Journey. Many Teams and (iii) Future of Aviation – which offers visitors insights into key job functions in aviation operations and the wide range of careers that support Singapore's aviation ecosystem, from airport operations and engineering to customer service, technology and aviation security. Visitors can also learn more about how Singapore is planning for the future of the sector, including the development of Terminal 5 and other key initiatives.

5        Ms Indranee Thurai Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister for Finance and National Development, visited the fair today. She was joined by Ms Sun Xueling, Senior Minister of State for Transport and National Development, and Pasir Ris-Changi GRC Grassroots Advisers Mr Desmond Tan, Mr Sharael Taha and Ms Valerie Lee. Mr Desmond Tan is also Senior Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office and Deputy Secretary-General of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC). During the visit, they toured the booths and met with employers, training institutions, residents and jobseekers.

Strengthening Partnerships for Singapore's Future Aviation Workforce

6        "Singapore's aviation sector is a key pillar of our economy and a major source of good jobs for Singaporeans. As the sector continues to grow and transform, including through developments such as Changi Airport Terminal 5, new opportunities will continue to emerge across aviation, engineering, technology, operations and many other fields,” said Ms Indranee Thurai Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office, and Second Minister for Finance and National Development.

7        “Through this district-level collaboration with CAAS, e2i and Pasir Ris–Changi GRC, we are bringing Singapore's aviation sector closer to residents in the North East, making it easier for them to connect with employers, explore careers in this dynamic industry and better understand the skills needed for the jobs of tomorrow. It is also encouraging to see government agencies, industry partners and community organisations working together to strengthen our workforce and ensure more Singaporeans can benefit from the sector's continued growth,” said Mr Baey Yam Keng, Mayor of North East District.

8        “The strong participation of 22 organisations in this careers fair underscores the sector’s strong hiring demand and CAAS’ commitment to creating more and better career pathways for Singaporeans, as we strengthen Singapore’s position as a global air hub,” said Ms Angela Ng, Director of Aviation Industry, CAAS.
