Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) Response to Media Queries
8 September 2020
The first visitors using the Air Travel Pass (ATP) scheme arrived today at Changi Airport from Brunei Darussalam and New Zealand.
Visitors from Brunei Darussalam and New Zealand – where the virus situation is well under control and risk of importation is low – may enter Singapore via the ATP scheme. Visitors can apply for the single-entry ATP between seven and thirty calendar days prior to their intended date of entry into Singapore. Since the ATP applications opened on 1 September 2020, 136 ATPs have been issued, of which 14 passengers have arrived in Singapore.
Short-term visitors under the ATP scheme must comply with the conditions of the ATP. These include undergoing a COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test upon arrival in Singapore, in lieu of a Stay-Home Notice, and downloading and using the TraceTogether app for their entire period of stay. More details of the conditions of travel can be found at https://safetravel.ica.gov.sg.
