Airports and aerodrome safety
Learn about CAAS' approach to maintaining aerodrome safety through systematic oversight, strong regulations, and collaborative industry safety management.
Aerodrome safety
CAAS conducts regular surveillance audits and inspections at aerodromes to verify that operations, infrastructure, and facilities comply with applicable safety regulatory requirements.
Safety regulatory requirements
These requirements can be found at:
Advisory circulars on aviation safety
CAAS also publishes Advisory Circulars (AC) to provide practical guidance or clarity on the statutory requirements for aviation safety.
The ACs contain information about standards, practices and procedures that are acceptable to CAAS.
The ACs may also be used to demonstrate compliance with statutory requirements in ANR-139 and the Aviation Specifications.
