A flight crew licence is required before you can operate as a pilot of a Singapore-registered aircraft. Various categories of such licences, and their associated ratings, determine the type of aircraft and flights that you can operate in Singapore.

To obtain a flight crew licence from CAAS, you will have to:

1. Complete the necessary flying training programme with a CAAS-approved Aviation Training Organisation
2. Accumulate sufficient flying experience
3. Pass a medical examination
4. Pass the CAAS Flight Crew Examination.
