Multi-crew Pilot Licence
Learn about the requirements and application process for your Multi-crew Pilot Licence.
You must have a Multi-crew Pilot Licence (MPL) to co-pilot a Singapore-registered multi-crew aircraft for public transport or aerial work.
A MPL allows you to fly in the capacities, aircraft types and for the purposes listed in the table below.

How to qualify
To obtain an MPL, you must meet all the following requirements:
be at least 18 years old
be able to speak and understand English used for radiotelephony communications
meet the Class 1 medical requirements
pass the theoretical knowledge examinations at the ATPL level
complete an approved course of flight training that meets the minimum flying experience requirements
pass the flight tests

How to apply for an MPL
Register for the required MPL examinations and pay the fees on the CAAS Examination Portal.
