First Local Community Aviation Career Fair Offers Over 2,000 Job Vacancies
27 February 2026
Over 2,000 job vacancies across various aviation companies will be on offer at the first local community aviation career fair to bring jobs closer to home and attract Singaporeans who live near the airport to join the growing aviation sector. The “East Side OneAviation Careers” Fair, which will be held on 28 February and 1 March 2026 at Heartbeat@Bedok, is organised by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) in partnership with the People’s Association, the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) Aerospace & Aviation (A&A) Cluster of unions, NTUC’s Employment and Employability Institute (e2i), and East Coast Group Representation Constituency (GRC) as part of East Coast GRC’s East Side Best Careers initiative.
2 These job vacancies on offer at the career fair are in a range of managerial, executive and operational roles, reflecting the sector’s diverse career opportunities. 18 organisations will be participating at the fair, including CAAS, Changi Airport Group, Certis Group, GE Aerospace, Lotte Duty Free, SATS, Scoot, SIA Engineering Company, Singapore Aero Engine Services and ST Engineering. Of these 18 organisations, 10 will conduct on-site interviews to accelerate hiring and enable jobseekers to secure employment more quickly. Interested jobseekers may walk in to register or register online (refer to Annex A for the list of organisations and the positions available at the fair, and how to register)..
3 Beyond job opportunities, e2i will provide personalised career coaching and advisory services to support jobseekers in sharpening their job search strategies and strengthening their competitiveness. Attendees can also participate in interactive aviation-themed activities for families including virtual reality activities and a flight simulator.
4 Ms Angela Ng, Director of Aviation Industry, CAAS, said: “The Singapore aviation sector currently employs over 60,000 workers across a wide range of roles. As we continue to grow to meet rising demand for air travel, CAAS hopes to attract many more Singaporeans to join the sector. CAAS has organised national-level aviation career fairs in the past. This is the first local community career fair we are organising close to the airport. If the response is positive, we will look into doing more in other districts.”
5 Mr Gary Goh, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Industry Partnership Group, e2i, said: “The aviation sector is experiencing significant growth and many jobs with good career growth prospects are being created. It is important that such job opportunities are made accessible to Singaporeans. Through this community-based career fair, CAAS and e2i are bringing together employers with immediate hiring needs across a wide range of functions and jobseekers from the local area and who are keen to take up these roles. Beyond job matching, we are providing career coaching and advisory support to help individuals strengthen their employability and build sustainable careers in aviation, in close partnership with employers and unions.”
