CAAS invites all interested medical practitioners in Singapore to apply to be appointed as our Designated Medical Examiner.  Appointment is granted based on criteria set out in Singapore Air Safety Publication (SASP) Part 9.

CAAS appoints DMEs at overseas locations only when a Singapore registered air operator requests for any to be appointed at the overseas location required by the operator.  The requesting air operator will be required to finance all the costs incurred by CAMB for the process.  Interested air operators can contact CAMB for detailed discussions on the subject.

Singapore Air Safety Publication (SASP) Part 9 describes the requirements for becoming a Designated Medical Examiner (DME) of the CAAS.
