15 December 2025
Opening its doors on 6 January 2026, the immersive experience at Changi Airport Terminal 3 is now open for registration
Registration is now open for T5 In the Making, an immersive exhibition where visitors are invited to discover the vision, design, and innovations behind Changi Airport’s upcoming Terminal 5 (T5) through interactive displays, scale models, and experiential zones. Jointly organised by the Ministry of Transport, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, and Changi Airport Group, T5 In the Making will be held from 6 January to March 2026 at Terminal 3’s Arrival Hall and is free for all visitors.
2 T5 In the Making showcases Changi Airport’s bold journey and future vision through five zones: from the airport’s strategic shift from Paya Lebar to Changi, to an experiential look at T5’s design, scale, and innovations. Visitors will witness the technologies being explored to address manpower, ageing population, and climate change challenges, and conclude their visit by imagining the future with interactive Artificial Intelligence (AI) experiences and viewing detailed scale models of T5 and the larger Changi East development.
3 Those interested in experiencing T5 In the Making are invited to register for a visit slot at the official website. Registration is on a first-come first-served basis, and each person can register for up to five people. Walk-in visits will be accepted, subject to availability.
4 T5 is part of the larger Changi East development, which includes Changi Airport’s third runway, cargo complexes, and other supporting aviation and ground transportation infrastructure. Construction of the terminal began in May this year and is slated to be completed in the mid-2030s.
5 T5 is expected to create significant opportunities for Singapore’s growth. The multi-year development is anticipated to drive demand for a wide range of services and generate jobs, both at the airport as well as in other industries which will grow together with it. Beyond maintaining Changi Airport’s status as a world-class aviation hub, T5 will also offer a vibrant space for families, friends, and the airport community to gather and bond.
