In late May 2021, Kok Hiang’s work duties was redesigned. From stacking trolleys, he now delivers food to fellow airport staff and passengers in the transit area of Changi Airport. He uses the scooter which has been modified from pulling luggage trolleys to food delivery trolleys.

Kok Hiang has taken the many changes including his work duties in his stride. While the tightened measures and risks at work may worry his family, he feels assured as he has been vaccinated.  Secondly, Smarte Carte, his company has provided him with the necessary Personal Protective Equipment and training. Most importantly, he takes the necessary precautions and follow SOPs as a matter of personal responsibility. He makes sure he protects himself, his colleagues and his family members.
