Cybersecurity Primer for Civil Aviation
This course, jointly organised with the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), leverages the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore and SUTD’s expertise in cybersecurity and civil aviation requirements, to provide you with the key foundations in cybersecurity concepts, controls and tools to ensure the safety, security and continuity of civil aviation operations.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course, you will be able to:
- Explain the significance of cybersecurity within the aviation industry and its unique challenges
- Describe the interplay between emerging aviation technologies and associated cybersecurity risks
- Explain fundamental cybersecurity principles, governance and risk management
- Apply fundamental cybersecurity concepts, controls, and tools to identify and analyse cyber vulnerabilities
- Explain the key elements of cybersecurity information management as well as effective strategies in access control
- Describe the principles and key elements of cybersecurity incident response and crisis management

Who Should Attend
This course is recommended if you are responsible for the operations, management or oversight of aviation systems and data, including but not limited to engineers, civil aviation officers, pilots, or working in airport ground operations and or maintenance crew.
