Programme Structure

This programme comprises both compulsory and elective courses. To complete the programme, you should complete at least 1 compulsory course from the core programme, and 1 aviation management course as an elective. You may select any core or elective courses based on your job function or areas of interest. You have the flexibility to attend each chosen course based on your preferred sequence/schedule. The total duration of compulsory and elective courses must add up to a minimum of 30 days.

Who Should Apply

Senior executives, managers or professionals who want to understand the challenges facing the industry and have a good grounding in aviation management.

Prerequisites 

  • Have prior training or experience in aviation industry
  • Be proficient in the English language

Panel of Advisors and Lecturers

The programme is conducted by a panel of advisors and lecturers comprising:

  • Heads of departments, professors and senior academic staff from the National University of Singapore

  • Senior practising personnel from the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore and other government and aviation-related organisations

  • International aviation industry experts

Certification

A Professional Diploma in Civil Aviation Management will be awarded to those who have successfully completed the compulsory course and chosen electives, as well as passed all examinations for the elective courses within the candidature period. Diploma holders may append the abbreviated form of the qualification “Dip. Civil Aviation Mgt.” after their name.

Candidature Period

The programme is to be completed within 3 years, starting from the date of the first course. The total duration of compulsory and elective courses must add up to a minimum of 30 days. 

Fees

The total amount payable is the sum of the course fees for each module taken. It varies according to the combination of modules chosen. Please refer to the respective course(s) for for the individual course fees.
