Working with Airport Community to Improve Efficiency

To raise airport productivity, CAAS works closely with the airport community to identify, develop, and constantly review initiatives, to drive targeted and transformative productivity improvements.

A wide range of these initiatives is supported by the Aviation Development Fund (ADF), which is used for the development and growth of the aviation industry in Singapore. These initiatives include technology adoption and automation, infrastructure enhancements, and airport process re-engineering.

An example is the introduction of self-service check-in counters by several airlines at Changi Airport to help raise productivity and enhance passenger handling capacity.
