Some aerial activities can potentially pose a hazard to air navigation, either due to the close proximity between an object in the air and an overflying aircraft, or an object may cause an obstruction along the flight path. As such, prior clearance needs to be sought from CAAS before interested parties carry out such activities. By accessing this page, applicants would be able to apply for the following aerial activities:

  • Aerial Photography
  • Kite Flying
  • Fireworks / Pyrotechnics
  • Hoisting of Balloons / Blimps
  • Release of Sky Lanterns
  • Release of balloons
  • Lasers / Other Lights Display
  • Flying of Unmanned Aircraft
  • A temporary Restricted Area will be established over the Marina Bay Floating Platform and surrounding areas to ensure the safety of low-level aircraft participating in the aerial activities for National Day Parade 2018 (NDP 2018) and RSAF50 celebrations. The dates and timings when the temporary Restricted Area is in effect include the rehearsals and actual shows for both events. The conduct of aerial activities including the flying of unmanned aircraft within and into the temporary Restricted Area will be subject to restrictions.
